Two international telecommunications operators will begin testing LTE. This adds to the previous announcement that two other telecoms have begun LTE testing. Verizon Wireless will now begin LTE trials with users in five U.S. cities. Alcatel-Lucent and Telefonica Peru completed a Long Term Evolution trial in the 700MHz frequency. It was demonstrated in real network conditions, achieving good signal indoors.
